I love Trader Joe's, you love Trader Joe's, everyone loves Trader Joe's! Trader Joe's is everyone's favorite speciality grocery store, and their selection of vegan and vegetarian items are superb. I just started a gluten-free journey recently so I wanted to seek out the best gluten-free items at Trader Joe's that you can pick up today.

These are all items that I've personally tried and loved, so you know they're going to be good! I even included a few meal prep ideas here for the gluten-free Trader Joe's food listed below, so give those a try too when you get the chance.

Let's dive in!

trader joes gluten free corn tortillas

1. Trader Joe's Corn Tortillas

I love to buy this pack of corn tortillas and use them for my popular veggie tacos recipe. Sometimes I'll also make homemade tortilla chips by brushing them with a little oil and baking them. Pro tip: these corn chips are super fresh which means they spoil quickly. If you're not going to use them within a few days, store them in the freezer.

trader joes gluten free green goddess dressing

2. Green Goddess Salad Dressing

This salad/everything dressing is so perfect for literally anything you'll ever make (including salads). And I LOVE that there are only six simple ingredients that are printed right there on the front of the label. Use this dressing for all your Buddha Bowls, Green Goddess Bowls, or whatever bowl you're in the mood for today. I also like to pour it all over rice and sautéed tofu for a lazy weeknight dinner.

trader joes gluten free soy chorizo

3. Soy Chorizo

I've only used this soy chorizo a few times, mainly because I'm not a huge breakfast person. But this soy chorizo is really good for making breakfast burritos, or served with scrambled tofu 'eggs'. I recommend browning this chorizo in a pan for a bit to heat it up before using it in a recipe. Oh and be warned: it's spicy!

trader joes chia bars gluten free

4. Organic Chia Bars

I have a confession to make: my name is Sam and I love bars. Food bars, that is. And this chia seed bar is one of my favorites because it's the perfect texture: not too soft, not too crunchy. And it contains a nice balance of different nuts, seeds, and fruits. It's a good snack to bring on road trips and for all those holiday flights that are coming up.

trader joes gluten free cereal

5. Just The Clusters: Ginger, Almond, & Cashew Granola Cereal

All of Trader Joe's 'Just the Clusters' cereals are delish, but this ginger, almond, cashew combo is my personal favorite. I like it because the ginger makes it just a little spicy which is perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the slivered almonds grains in this cereal. I love this cereal all times of year, but the spices in this one makes it especially tasty during the fall and holiday season.

trader joes gluten free almond cashew macadamia nut beverage

6. Almond, Cashew, & Macadamia Nut Beverage

All of Trader Joe's non-dairy beverages are really good (and reasonably priced!) but lately I've been reaching for their almond, cashew, and macadamia nut milk. I like to alternate between this one and their unsweetened almond milk and use it for smoothies, cereal, and even as a replacement for milk in baking.

trader joes almond butter gluten free

7. Almond Butter

Are you team crunchy or team smooth almond butter? I'm crunchy all the way because I like the texture, but you do what works for you, boo. Trader Joe's has a pretty robust nut butters selection that lets you shop for almond butter, peanut butter, sunflower butter, etc. all in one place. Basically, if there's a seed or a nut out there Trader Joe's has a butter for it.

trader joes fruit bars gluten free

8. Fruit Bars

I freaking loved Fruit Roll-Ups when I was a kid. Literally what's better than pressed, processed, sweetened, colored candy? Well, I'm not 13 years old anymore so I love that Trader Joe's offers a huge selection of dried fruit leather that is reminiscent of a Fruit Roll-Up, but without the weird stuff. If you're a fruit fan like me, I'm quite partial to the Apple + Mango flavor.

cruciferous slaw salad trader joes gluten free

9. Cruciferous Slaw

Trader Joe's prepackaged foods can be a bit hit or miss, but I really like their Cruciferous Slaw. It's filled with crunchy shaved cabbage and comes with a tangy ginger lemon dressing that isn't too heavy, and also contains currants which adds a nice sweet balance to this fresh salad.

edamame kale salad trader joes gluten free

10. Kale & Edamame Salad

Ok, one more salad: this kale and edamame salad one is another favorite that I like to grab for lunch. And again, it has cranberries in it which I like because I've recently become indoctrinated to the whole putting fruit in your salad thing.

honey mamas trader joes

11. Honey Mama's Honey-Cocoa Bar

If you love chocolate, you have to give Honey Mama's honey chocolate bars a try! You'll find them in the refrigerated section near the salad, which means these chocolate bars are basically a vegetable. I love honey, and you can taste it in these bars. They are super rich too, so even though they're on the smaller side it's the perfect size for a treat. The truffle flavor is my personal favorite!

garlic spread dip trader joes gluten free

12. Garlic Spread Dip

There is nothing better than the garlic dip that comes with Mediterranean takeout food. Nothinggg. There's a delicious restaurant chain in Los Angeles called Zankou Chicken that makes bomb falafel, and also the tastiest garlic dip ever. Trader Joe's garlic spread dip is a great copycat for it, so I add it to my cart pretty much every time I'm there and eat it with rice, pita chips, and homemade falafel.

trader joes vegan ranch dip gluten free

13. Vegan Ranch Dip

Trader Joe's vegan ranch dip is a new addition to their dips and spreads selection and it is REALLY good. I don't even like ranch dip that much, but I like their vegan ranch dip a lot. It's a little more watery than traditional ranch drip, but it's still good for dipping in veggies and all of the chips under the rainbow.

trader joes gone bananas gluten free

14. Gone Bananas

Gone Bananas is just about the cutest thing ever. Eating it makes me feel like a kid again, and it's such a yummy, refreshing treat during the summer. It's just frozen bananas dipped in chocolate: a combo that I've loved since the beginning of time. They also have Gone Strawberries which uses strawberries instead of bananas. I haven't tried that one yet but I will be reaching for it next summer.

toffee chips trader joes gluten free

15. Toffee Chips

I LOVE TOFFEE. There, I said it. It's one of my favorite flavors ever, and I love Trader Joe's toffee chips because they are thin and crunchy and have a strong toffee flavor. It tastes like something you'd pick up in London, I bet. They're dangerous to keep around because it's easy to eat a bunch of them at once, but I have two words to say about that: worth it.

trader joes powerberries gluten free

16. Powerberries

Powerberries are little balls of magic. They are a mixture of acai, pomegranate, cranberry, and blueberry all rolled together and covered in dark chocolate. Yum. I like these chocolates because each piece is pretty big so I can satisfy my sweet tooth with a small handful of them.

trader joes cauliflower pizza crust gluten free

17. Cauliflower Pizza Crust

So, can we all admit that we're all just a little crazy about cauliflower right now? We're using cauliflower as a substitute in macaroni and cheese, so something is up. Cauliflower pizza crusts are a total trend now, so if you're planning to make a homemade pizza sometime soon definitely give Trader Joe's version a try. It's already frozen so all you have to do is pour on some marina sauce and top it with roasted veggies (here are recipes for my Vegan Arugula Pesto Pizza and Vegetarian Pesto Pizza).

trader joes gluten free flour

18. Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour

I had to add Trader Joe's gluten-free flour to the list because it's a great substitute for recipes that call for regular all-purpose flour. But, I will say that their gluten free flour is pretty pricy for only one pound, and you can likely find a better deal if you find Bob's Red Mill gluten-free flour at your local grocery store. But, it felt wrong to leave this off the list of great Trader Joe's gluten free items, so here it is!

trader joes red lentil pasta gluten free

19. Organic Red Lentil Sedanini

I LOVE this gluten free red lentil pasta so much, I could eat it everyday with some pesto or marinara sauce. This pasta is a great alternative to wheat pastas because it is made with lentil flour, which means it has more protein and fiber than traditional pastas. I will say, the texture can get too soft if you boil it for too long so I recommend reducing the cooking time by 1-2 minutes for a tastier al dente texture.

trader joes vegan gluten free marshmallows

20. Mini Marshmallows

I'm not a huge marshmallow fan, but I was so glad to see that Trader Joe's mini marshmallows are gluten-free AND vegan, which means they don't contain gelatin. I think that's pretty cool, so I had to add these to the list. Use them for all your homemade s'mores needs and my Protein Hot Chocolate recipe.

trader joes gluten free trek mix

21. OMEGA Trek Mix

Trader Joe's offers a lot of trail mixes, but this one has always been my favorite because it contains two of my favorite nuts in one package: almonds and cashews. Throw cranberries into the mix and we've got a party going. This trail mix doesn't contain chocolate or tons of added sugar which I really appreciate, because some trail mixes can become borderline candy when you add in yogurt and chocolate-covered pieces. But this one strikes a great balance while keeping the ingredients simple.

trader joes gluten free plaintain chips jerk style

22. Jerk-Style Plantain Chips

I am a plantain chips fiend, so when Trader Joe's introduced their jerk-style plantain chips a few months back you BET I was throwing 2-3 of these in my cart at the time. And a bag is what, two bucks? Say no more. I like the jerk seasoning a lot, it adds a nice spice to the chips and is pretty addictive. It's kinda hard not to eat the whole bag in one sitting (just saying).

trader joes kale chips gluten free

23. Seasoned Kale Chips

I had kale chips for the first time ever at Trader Joe's YEARS ago. They used to have a nacho cheese flavor kale chip that I went crazy for when I first graduated from college and discovered Trader Joe's. These seasoned kale chips are very good too. They are coated in tahini so they have a nutty flavor and a nice crunch in every chip.

trader joes elote corn chips gluten free

24. Organic Elote Corn Chips

These elote corn chips are crazy addictive! The tortilla chips are coated in a nacho cheese-like spice and go PERFECT with a nice salsa or even hummus. When these were first released over the summer, I was buying 3-4 at a time, and so was everyone else because after a while they became hard to find. These are so, so good and perfect for serving at parties (if you're open to sharing).

25. Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips

Another thing to add to the list of gluten-free snack items are these Trader Joe's nacho cheese tortilla chips. Are they just as cheesy and addictive as the classic chip brand we all grew up with? Not exactly, but they're not bad either. But, they are a good substitution if you're craving a nacho chip.

What are your favorite Trader Joe's finds? I'm sure I missed something, so share them with me here or on my Insta!
